LazytypeBy downloading or using Lazytype, you agree to these terms. We have kept them short and readable.
Your license
Personal is a one-time license for personal use, where you connect your own transcription API key. Pro is a subscription where we host the transcription for you. Both grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Lazytype.
Free trial
Lazytype offers a 14-day free trial with all features and no payment method required. When the trial ends, you keep using Lazytype by buying a license or starting a subscription.
Payment and renewal
Payments are processed by Stripe. A Pro subscription renews automatically for successive periods until you cancel it, which you can do at any time through the customer portal. Prices are shown at checkout and include applicable VAT.
Acceptable use
Please use Lazytype lawfully and for your own use. License keys are personal; sharing a key across many devices or users, automating bulk usage, or attempting to abuse the managed service may lead to rate limits or revocation. The managed plan has fair-use limits to protect the service.
Availability and warranty
We work hard to keep Lazytype fast and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, language and other factors, and is never guaranteed to be perfect.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lazytype is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You can stop using Lazytype at any time. We may suspend or revoke access for non-payment or breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes fall under the competent Dutch courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
Who provides Lazytype
Lazytype is provided by Basinc BV, a private limited company registered in the Netherlands. Our Chamber of Commerce (KvK) and VAT numbers and registered address are available on request.
